Goodman Real Estate and Studio Meng Strazzara are taking plans for a four-story residential building at 8228 Green Lake Drive N before the design review board this evening for a hopeful recommendation. The Greenlake proposal would include 66 residential units plus four live/work units. Building plans include a rooftop deck amenity area, surface-level parking for 34 vehicles, and bike parking for 70 bicycles. The standout design feature is a silhouette of trees on metal panels at the corner. The idea is to "produce a visual effect of looking through trees, similar to an experience found throughout Green Lake." It also ties in the large quantity of greenery and landscaping that would surround the complex.
