The Deck is Bigger Than This $399K Tiny Tulalip Cottage

When you have 62 feet of waterfront by Tulalip Bay you need a place to sit and enjoy it, and maybe just enough of a house to get out of the weather. Maybe that's why this 420 square foot tiny house has a 1,000 square foot deck that looks big enough to be a heli-pad, or at least a launch site for drones. They're asking $399,999 (because $400,000 is just $1 too much) for the 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage that was built in 1989. The view is southwest across Possession Sound and Saratoga Passage, popular places for whales and boats that are steering clear of the container ships. It is a deeded property, an uncommon issue that reflects the rights of the Tulalip tribe and their reservation. As if the house didn't already look small compared to the deck, both sit on the three-quarter acre lot. Why write about the indoors when there's so much more outdoors? Make sure you bring some patio umbrellas, too. It isn't always sunny by the sea. Of course, those days are what the tiny house is for.
