2nd & John Plans to Add 80 New Apartments to Queen Anne

New, 1 comment

Last night, Continental Properties and Baylis Architects brought revised plans for five-level residential complex 2nd & John before the design review board for recommendation. Currently the home of a law firm, this corner spot will become a complex with 78 market-rate apartments, two live/work units, 70 parking garage spots and 20 bike parking spots. Close to Elliott Avenue, the spot manages to be close to the busy road without getting the full effect and even manages to sneak a view of Elliot Bay and the Cascades through two office buildings across the way. Street-level canopies and cantilevered balconies provide some shady space and community patio on the roof brings in the greenery. According to their site, Continental is hoping to finish construction in Fall 2017.
