Yesterday, we asked you to guess where location full of this Central District intersection pictured in 1959. Commenter Wilbs got the answer pretty quick, noting that it's 17th Avenue at Spring Street.
Image: Seattle Municipal Archives Most if not all of the apartments buildings pictured still stand (except for that first one on the left) but its tougher to see them all behind all the trees now lining that block. Depending on the time of the year you might get some great cherry blossom action here as well. It's a rare Seattle block where most of the buildings all come from the same relative time period and remain standing.
