Cornerspotter: Johnson's Wagon Wheel Tavern Rolls Away

Can you figure out where this 1975 street scene takes place in Seattle?

Cornerspotter is the Curbed Seattle feature in which we show you a historical photo taken somewhere in the city and you identify the location. Impress fellow Curbed readers with your knowledge by leaving guesses in the comments or send them to our tipline: seattle@curbed.com. We'll post the answer on Friday. And hey: no cheating!

Johnson's Wagon Wheel and Midnight Cafe, pictured in 1975, were right at the heart of Seattle back in the day. Now, however, they're gone, as are most of the businesses pictured down the street. Today this whole block has been rebuilt as a hotel, the perfect location considering the Seattle landmark just on the other side of this block.

So, any idea what intersection this spot is closest to?
