This $7.5M Clyde Hill Estate Includes More Garage Bays Than Bedrooms

Don't buy this place unless you've got at least nine vehicles.

If you think in terms of maxmimzing value, only purchase the 6-BR, 8.25-bath estate at 2225 94th Ave NE in Clyde Hill if you have close to a double-digit number of vehicles. Otherwise, you're just sitting on a glut of empty garage bays.

Asking $7.495M, this just-over-an-acre property with an 11,384 sqaure-foot home in the center has a curious pricing history. It was listed for a whopping $10.5M in 2010 before it was chopped all the way down to $4.25M in 2001, at which point it was removed from the market and went into foreclosure. It was sold in 2012 for $3.8M but now that buyer is looking to get back closer to that original asking price, even if it didn't go so well last time.

If you're going to throw around those kind of numbers you need to back it up and this place has plenty to offer. There's a huge theater room, elevator-accessible guest apartment, and a game room so big it almost looks like it could be a classroom. Outside there's a solid pool, putting green, and big back patio with open fireplace. We didn't even mention the six bedrooms, including the en suite master with a bathroom bigger than most bedrooms.
