Cornerspotted: Second & Seneca Looking on Smith Tower

Everything has changed about this view except for Second Avenue and Smith Tower

Yesterday we asked you to guess the nearest intersection where this 1914 photo of Downtown Seattle was taken.

Commenter MichaelMack came super-close with a guess of Second Avenue & Spring Street and we'll alllow it because the photo was shot just past Seneca Street, which is just before Spring.

A lot has changed but Smith Tower is a constant, no matter what century you're looking at Seattle. We still want to know what happened to Piper & Taft Sporting Goods, though...
