Back in August 2015 we were introduced to Eagle's Nest, a 21-acre San Juan Island estate that was asking $25M. There haven't been any takers as of yet for the custom-built property so they've decided to chop that price by $5M.
Dole Food President Michael Carter originally built a 1,000 square-foot guest house & carriage house on the property in 2002 while he waited for the manor home to be completed. Eleven years later, he moved in 19,676 square-foot mansion which includes five bedroom suites, one master with it's own private laundry, theater room, wine cellar and guest apartment with its own kitchen and entrance.
Outside, roam the 4,000 square feet of terraces or relax in the spa that's "built like it just came out of the earth." And if guests visit, there's clearly plenty of room between everyone for when it's time to call it a night and go to sleep. Hopefully each guest house comes with a Segway, or at least a bike, to make it easier to get around.
