Cornerspotted: Taking the Trolleybus From First & Yesler

Some things have changed in this Seattle spot and some things have stayed the same

Yesterday we asked you guess where in Seattle this Trolleybus scene from 1959 was located.

Commenter wackyxaky was the first one to correctly guess that we're at First Avenue and Yesler Way in Pioneer Square.

The view has changed a bit thanks to the growth of all those trees, but the Norton Building being built in the background of the first image is certainly still standing as of the city's most notable post-World War II office building. Given the location of Pioneer Square park and the iconic iron pergola right there, we're glad this one was pretty easy for you guys to guess. Otherwise, we'd have to have a chat...
