Last Week's Biggest Sales: Mike Holmgren's Former Home Gets $3.6M

The Mercer Island residence once owned by Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren just sold once again

Listed for: $3.99M
Received: $3.55M
Size: 5-BR, 4-bath, 4,580 sf.
Location: 7441 W Mercer Way, Mercer Island
The Skinny: Once owned by former Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren, this Mercer Island home didn't get the $4M it was looking for but it did pretty well all things considered. As you might imagine, the house comes with a lot of luxury features (96-foot waterfront, yachtsman dock, boat & jetski lifts, cabana, sauna, saltwater spa, SONOS sound system). It also comes with a detached, two-bedroom guesthouse.

Received: $2.62M
Size: 4-BR, 3.5-bath, 4,310 sf.
Location: 7816 NE 8th Street, Medina
The Skinny: Listed May 4, this Medina home went pending within 12 days. Tucked away on a 19,816 square foot lot, this luxury home comes complete with a patio and private grounds to relax and hide away. There's some Spanish influence near the front and in the living areas inside the home. The standout room is the master suite, which includes a private sitting room/office, walk-in closet & remodeled master bath.

Received: $2.41M
Size: 4-BR, 3.25-bath, 3,580 sf.
Location: 2560 109th Place NE, Bellevue
The Skinny: We'd love to hear the story behind this sale as the final price ended up over $500K higher than the initial ask. Doubly-impressive considering the home appears to be in the midst of renovations. Whoever bought this rambler must have a vision for what it'll become and just wanted a little bit of a head start heading in.
