Remember when we told you about this floating home, a.k.a. one of the ten greatest homes of all-time in Seattle? This large Craftsman-style floater in Eastlake hit the open market on May 3 asking $1,795,000.
We were big fans of the 1,400 square-foot residence, with it's Tommy Hilfiger ad-interiors, barrel ceilings, and prime Lake Union location. Clearly we weren't the only ones.
A little birdy told us to check back in on the status of that home and we've found out that it has already sold, going pending on May 9 and closing on May 24 at a receiving price of $2,000,000. For those not-so-inclined at math, that's $205,000 over asking price.
Our source tells us that there were multiple offers on the home (because Seattle housing market) and the buyer paid cash. This is the part where we remind you this is now the norm around here.
