Old Spaghetti Factory Getting Renovation, New Neighbor

Plans call for a renovation of the 114-year-old structure as well as the addition of a new seven-story mixed-user

In July 2015 we found out that the Old Spaghetti Factory building at 2801 Elliott Avenue in Belltown had been sold. Thanks to an upcoming design review meeting, now we know what the plans are for the space.

Nitze-Stagen and Meriwether Partners plans to to renovate the current two-story building and add a third-floor office pavilion. They also want to construct a seven-story mixed-use building on the adjacent parking lot. Included in the new structure would be 60-62 apartments, ground-floor commercial space and 60 underground parking spots.

The Old Spaghetti Factory building was actually 114 year old and known as the Ainsworth & Dunn Warehouse. The exterior walls and exposed timber structures would be preserved as part of the renovation while the new building would have a glass exterior. Both buildings will connect via a ground-floor gallery.

Plans go before the design review board for early guidance on June 21.
