Last Week's Biggest Sales: $3.6M For Clyde Hill 5-BR

The biggest real estate sales in the region last week went down in Clyde Hill and Mercer Island

Listed for: $3.578M
Received: $3.578M
Size: 5-BR, 5-bath, 4,821 sf.
Location: 1605 92nd Avenue NE, Clyde Hill
The Skinny: Well that was easy. Listed on April 20, pending a week later, and eventually sold for the asking price. The brand-new Steven D. Smith-designed view home is built for views and luxury. We're partial to the downstairs rec room with "refreshment center" and wine room.

Listed for: $4.2M
Received: $3.49M
Size: 6-BR, 4.75-bath, 6,520 sf.
Location: 7250 E Mercer Way, Mercer Island
The Skinny: It's been a long trip for this Mercer Island home from listing to sale. It originally listed way back in April 2013 for $4.2M. A bunch of price-chops, removals, and re-listings later and it's April 2016 ask of $3.7M paid off. It went pending a week later and got slightly below that. Much less than what they wanted in 2013 but at this point they're probably happy to have the deal done.

Listed for: $1.89M
Received: $1.95M
Size: 6-BR, 4.5-bath, 4,360 sf.
Location: 8822 SE 39th Street, Mercer Island
The Skinny: Here's a sale that fits with the story of the current market. Pending in three days and getting over asking price, even if it's just a little bit. This Northwest Craftsman comes with a MIL unit and looks to be "family-ready," especially since it's walking distance to an elementary school.
