Zumper's May numbers saw Seattle rise to No. 9 on the list of major cities in terms of median one-bedroom rent. Their June report is out today and Seattle maintained it's spot but the median one-bedroom rent around town rose once more to $1,790.
Seattle's median 1-BR rent is now up 5.3 percent this quarter and 11.9 percent over the last year. That YOY growth trails only Oakland and Los Angeles amongst top ten cities.
Seattle's median 2-BR rent is also on the rise. The June report puts it at $2,370/month, up 0.9 percent from the previous month and up 10.7 percent year-over-year, also one of the three biggest gainers in the nation.
