This weekend, Windermere Real Estate is sponsoring the Washington Waterfront Home Tour where almost 100 homes between Seattle, the San Juans and Lake Sammamish will be available to peruse. Properties range from $189,000 all the way up tp $10.4 million, and if you're an avid reader of Curbed (bless you), you’ll probably recognize some of them.
That $10.4 million-dollar home is the 9,672 square-foot mansion at 4939 NE Laurelcrest Lane where Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson rented until he bought his own house last year.
There’s also the 1930’s Tudor at 1732 Lakeside Avenue S that boasts palm trees overlooking Lake Washington. Maybe you can find out how one gets palm trees to Seattle and keeps them in good shape.
Over in Bellevue you can check out the property at 2215 Killarney Way with 11 bathrooms. The tour probably doesn’t give you “full" access to each of them.
OB Jacobi, president of Windermere Real Estate, said in a release that while many types of home sales are on the rise, waterfront homes are at the forefront of the market.
“In the four-county region, sales of waterfront homes are up by over 10 percent compared to a year ago, and over the past three years, prices have increased by more than 20 percent."
A map of the homes and their open house hours can be found here; most will be held open from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on June 11 and 12. The listing details will note the availability; for those listed as “by appointment only”, contact the corresponding agent for a private tour.
