Which stat do you want us to trot out to remind you that Seattle-area rent in accelerating at ludicrous speed?

  • Per Zumper, median rent is up to $1,790/month, making it the 9th-highest in the nation among major cities.
  • Per Abodo, Seattle rent rose 11 percent in May alone.
  • Rent Jungle puts average rent for a one-bedroom in Seattle currently at $1,974/month. Average two-bedroom rent? $2,800/month.

In this thread, we want to know: Where do you live, and how much has your rent gone up since you moved into your apartment or house? (Those of you who are lucky enough to own, feel free to chime in if you've got a particularly interesting rental story, too.)
