If you've ever set foot in the W Seattle, you might want to take another turn. W Hotels Worldwide has completed their renovation of the luxury building at 1112 4th Avenue in Downtown Seattle.
The redesign, which cost $18 million, was inspired by the Pacific Northwest location as well as some specific Seattle touches and an influence from the local music scene.
All 415 guest rooms and nine suites have been remade. The hotel's lobby, which they call a Living Room, has also been remade, as well as Trace restaurant and the meeting spaces. The standout new feature has to be the W Sound Suite, the first in one of their North American hotels. The music studio offers a private recording space and writer's room for recording artists as well as hotel guests. If you're a professional musician on the road, looks like this will be your spot from now on.
Design firm Krause + Sawyer, along with W Hotels’ design team remodeled the hotel rooms while Sklylab Architecture was responsible for creating the Living Room Lobby, restaurants and bars, and all public spaces.
