Big Reveal: $589K for 1-BR condo in Luma

See what a normal unit inside Luma looks like

Yesterday we asked you to guess the asking price for this 1-BR, 1-bath condo in Luma, one of Seattle's newest condo towers. Guess it was a bit of a stumper because no one took a turn. So we'll go ahead and spoil the surprise. The actual asking price: $589K.

Luma is the hottest condo building in Seattle right now, already 68 percent reserved as of August 2. As for this 861 square-foot unit, it shows off a lot of the reasons why. The brand-new layout is bright and adds a few modern wrinkles to your usual condo conditions. The dark hardwoods add a layer not normally found and play off the brightness of the white walls nicely. The sleek look of the kitchen helps it create separation without being too blocky. It's full of nice accessories and kitchenware as well. The bedroom isn't huge but it does come with a pretty great view from what we assume is the third floor.

So now that you know, do you think that asking price makes sense?
