88th Street Partners and Twist Design will present their plans for a mixed-use complex at 8820 Aurora Avenue North in Green Lake to the design review board next Monday for a potential recommendation.
The project, known in the proposal as Mid Block, is built around a warehouse space for Best Plumbing, who is moving their warehouse from Stone Way in Fremont to the proposed site. Their needs result in 4,860 square-feet of warehouse space and 6,292 square-feet of office space across two levels. They've also included 8,945 square-feet of storage yard and parking space. That includes three regular parking stalls and seven fleet parking stalls.
The cost of constructing the new site means that they need to generate additional income from the site and that will come in the form of 27 residential units across the third, fourth, and fifth floors. Residential amenities will include a rooftop deck with green space.
Harrison Design is handling landscape design while DCI Engineers are the civil engineers on the project.
