Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. Today we decided to take a look at $1,500/month around the city. You tell us which lease you'd sign.
We begin in North Delridge where Marq West has a 656-square-foot 1-BR available for $1,514/month. The building is actually LEED Gold Certified and features a streamlined ventilation system,recycled insulation, and electric car charging stations.The unit is an open layout that takes full advantage of big windows and bright hardwood floors.
Next up we head to West Woodlands (a.k.a. the stretch between Fremont & Ballard) where Koi has a 473-square-foot studio for $1,500/month. Koi's units feature open floor plans, abundant natural light, big balconies and modern kitchens. They also put you in a nice location between some great neighborhoods.
On to Belltown where Fountain Court has a 481-square-foot studio available for $1,488/month. If you want to be in a place close to Pike Place Market, you've found your home here. Typical apartment layouts and the building itself is full of the amenities you'd expect.
Now we head to Westlake where you can find a studio apartment in The Distillery Building at 1735 Westlake Avenue N for $1,500/month. Very cool loft space with a rustic farmhouse vibe. The unit features a living area with hardwood floors and a small kitchenette. Up the ladder you'll find the sleeping area and 3/4 bath. The unit also comes with a private 300-square-foot deck.
Finally we end up in Haller Lake where you can get a 690-square-foot 1-BR at 10556 Midvale Avenue N for $1,500/month. This place features a fresh coat of paint and laminate hardwoods. The open floor plan has room for an office nook, kitchen, and lots of storage. There's also a private outdoor patio and fenced garden space out back.
