What major Seattle urban project would you vote for?

What version of NYC’s High Line or San Francisco’s Transbay Transit Center would make enough sense for the people of Seattle to sign on for?

Earlier this week, Seattle soundly rejected Initiative-123, which would have scrapped the planned waterfront renovations for an elevated park running from Pike Place to Stadium District. While it sounded nice in theory, the reality just didn’t make a whole lot of sense for the city.

But that makes us wonder...what big, game-changing project would Seattle say yes to right now? The Seattle waterfront is a big change that’s coming but what about after that? What version of NYC’s High Line or San Francisco’s Transbay Transit Center would make enough sense for the people of Seattle to sign on for?

A pedestrian bridge/park across Lake Washington?

A massive barge off the Seattle waterfront?

Some kind of huge park project along Lake Union?

Sound off in the comments with your big ideas for the future of Seattle.
