Big Reveal: $400K for remodeled South Seattle bungalow

Clearly it looks like someone thought the price was right. It just went pending

Yesterday, we asked you to guess the asking price for this completely remodeled 1905 bungalow close to Atlantic and Judkins Park. We saw four guesses ranging from $399K up to $535K. While we can understand the desire to go higher in this market, it's the guess of $399K from user Degaussing that takes the day.

Actual asking price: $400K.

In a way this is the kind of place that represents the future of Seattle real estate. Located in a reemerging neighborhood, the 1905 bungalow has been remade for modern living and sits in a location primed for what Seattle is about to become. Close to all of the major highways as well as a future light rail station, it's a commuter's ideal spot. Being in South Seattle means you can probably get it now for a little less than elsewhere and given the way the city is expanding and changing, you'll likely be able to sell it again one day for even more. Small but efficient and you're own little slice of Seattle.

Clearly it looks like someone thought the price was right. It just went pending.
