The Stratford Company and Rutledge Maul Architects bring their plans for 88th & Nesbit Apartments (1141 N 81st Street) back before the design review board tonight for potential recommendation.
The plans call for a four-story residential complex with 74 total units. Among them will be 39 open one bedrooms and 35 efficiency units. No parking will be provided.
Per the provided packet, the building will also compliment the culture of outdoor enthusiasts in the area by providing bike storage and repair facilities in the basement level. Living spaces that include efficiency units will also include "living spaces with amenity areas that will enhance and foster a social atmosphere." That includes a residential courtyard in the middle of the complex and a rooftop deck. There’s also plans for a fitness room, bar/lounge, and media room.
