Last year, American Express docked a 200-foot barge at Pier 66 before a Seattle Seahawks game so that Amex Card Members could pre-game in style. It was such a hit they’ve decided to do it again.
The party barge, roughly the size of two basketball courts, will return to the Seattle waterfront on Sunday, October 16 before the Hawks take on the Atlanta Falcons. Complimentary tickets will be available for American Express Card Members (21+) Thursday at 12 p.m. PT on a first-come, first-served basis. So what can you do on Hawks Island? You can mingle with former Seahawks (Shaun Alexander showed up last year), eat some quality food, drink some quality beverages, take part in a slew of pre-game activities, and snap some photos at various photo op spots along the way.
There will also be complimentary bus rides to CenturyLink Field for the game, which kicks off at 1:25 p.m. PST.
If you want to go, just know that space sold out VERY quickly last year. As in, within a couple hours. So get on it if you want to get on it, if you know what we mean.
