Last week's biggest sales: Bellevue waterfront home gets $4.3M

Last week's biggest sales come to us from Bellevue and Mercer Island

Listed for: $4.5M
Received: $4.3M
Size: 6-BR, 3.25-bath, 4,050 sf.
Location: 80 Cascade Key, Bellevue
The Skinny: This well-maintained 1973 custom home was built by Swanson Dean and designed by Mithun Architects. It features vaulted ceilings, walls of windows, open entertaining spaces & five upper bedrooms that are all en-suite. The place listed in July and went pending by August, getting just below asking price.

Listed for: $4.75M
Received: $3.5M
Size: 4-BRm 4.25-bath, 4,240 sf.
Location: 6238 East Mercer Way, Mercer Island
The Skinny: It's been a long time coming for this place to sell. It originally listed in 2008 for $6.25M but left the market after about six months. It reappeared in 2010 at $4.69M but again no bites. It stayed off market until 2014 when it re-listed for $4.75M and started chipping away at that price until July 2016 when it dropped to $3.85M, eventually selling for $3.5M.

Listed for: $3.49M
Received: $3.43M
Size: 3-BR, 2.5-bath, 3,330 sf.
Location: 7428 SE 71st Street, Mercer Island
The Skinny: This place is a very cool-looking 1971 NW Contemporary that spent all of eight days on the open market. Beautiful woodwork throughout coupled with soaring ceilings and unique angles makes it a great residence. That it's located on the Mercer Island with 92 feet of waterfront is a complete bonus.
