Last week, we reported that Denny Triangle has around 10,000 potential homes in the development pipeline. 393 of those units are in the AMLI Arc tower, which just topped—laid its last steel beam—last week.
The 41-story, 429,000-square-foot tower, located at 1800 Boren Avenue, will have three basic apartment varieties, including loft-style apartments with concrete ceilings and luxury penthouses.
Developer Mortenson didn’t have any interior renderings of individual units ready to show us, but they did provide three renderings of common amenity areas: A media room, a lounge on the top floor, and a common area with a small kitchen on the 12th floor.

The common amenity areas are pretty standard for recent, luxury residential developments: An outdoor dining area, a party room for gatherings that outgrow your apartment, a fitness center, a yoga studio, conference rooms, co-working spaces, a rooftop deck with grills, a bike shop, and a pet spa.

The building broke ground in October 2015, and is slated for completion this November. We asked Mortensen for a rent ballpark on the tower, but they won’t have that ready until closer to opening.
The tower shares a 509-stall parking garage with the office building next door, Tilt49. That’s one of two nearby office towers recently leased by Amazon—a first guess as to who will be leasing up these apartments seems pretty obvious.
Meanwhile, Amazon’s Downtown campus is sprouting up not too far away, including a new building under development at Seventh and Blanchard and their new Day One tower nearby.
Most of the residential units coming up in the area, like Arc, are rentals—two blocks away, residential tower Nexus is the only condo development under construction in the neighborhood.
