Newly elected Hall-of-Famer Edgar Martinez lists Bellevue penthouse for $9.78 million

Edgar Martinez is one of Seattle’s most beloved Mariners alums—we even named a street after him—so there was a lot of fanfare around his long-overdue Baseball Hall of Fame induction. It turns out that it’s a big week for Martinez, who just listed his massive Bellevue penthouse on the top floor of the ritzy One Lincoln Tower for $9.78 million.

The Puget Sound Business Journal’s Patti Payne first broke the news late Wednesday, catching Edgar’s wife Holli Martinez in the post-election fanfare. She said while the penthouse is an “oasis,” they’ve made the decision to buy a house in Bellevue.

The condo has more than 4,000 square feet to work with, and packs in amenities more typical to a large, luxury home. Even the fanciest condos don’t come standard with a screening room. It’s all anchored by a massive, two-story great room, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows with lake, mountain, and city views. A balcony stretches along the length of the room to get an even better look (and a peek at the downtown Seattle skyline).

An open layout brings the view from those windows throughout the home, not just into the kitchen, but to the lofted second-floor hallways. The master has a big view of its own from its own wall of windows—and its own balcony to go with them.

Even after the private theater, large kitchen, master suite, formal dining area, and soaring living room, it still makes room for a full guest suite and an office. And in case condo’s own features weren’t enough, the condo is stacked on top of a Westin hotel, and gets access to all the hotel’s amenities, including the pool and gym. Take a look.
