The cheapest place for sale right now is a 609 square-foot 1-BR condo on the cusp of Interbay. The west-facing condo features new floors, fresh paint, tile bathroom and all appliances. A penthouse? Already on this list? Technically-speaking, yes. The tallest condo in this 12-unit building is all yours for under $400K (Down from $437K). You get space, too. 1,227 square feet and two bedrooms. For those views, this is starting to sound like a steal.

Not too much to go off of here. Only one photo and no details in the listing, so you might be looking at an investment or tear-down. Seems like a good location, close to Fremont.

Here's a pretty cute purplish cottage tucked away in some landscaping that's probably a nice starter home.
