This week we’re exploring King County Metro Route 37, which, coming from downtown, runs along the north and west edges of the West Seattle peninsula, hitting most the neighborhood’s prime beachfront, including the Alki Beach area.
That means a stop by Harbor Island and the Spokane Street Park and Ride before heading past all the area’s waterfront staples; it passes Salty’s, Seacrest Marina, and Don Armeni Park before heading down the length of the Alki Beach boardwalk. It heads down to Schmitz Park before doubling back to the West Seattle Junction.
We’ve found five notable homes for sale along the route. They weren’t hard to dig up—most homes along this route are right on the water. Right now, it’s a lot of condos from the 1970s through the 1990s along this corridor, with a couple of extra surprises thrown in, too. (A little more variety might come along once springtime is in full swing.)
