Six homes for sale along Metro route 70

From South Lake Union to the University District

View as Map

King County Metro Route 70 does a lot of heavy lifting. After Metro adjusted bus routes to account for the Husky Stadium light rail station, most other routes that served Eastlake were cut—making it the neighborhood’s one major bus route.

The 70 starts its run in Pioneer Square, running through downtown and South Lake Union before running up Eastlake Avenue East and crossing the bridge to the University of Washington.

This map will focus heavily on the underrated little neighborhood of Eastlake, which spans, appropriately, the east side of Lake Union, just west of Interstate 5. There’s not usually much for sale directly around the University of Washington, which tends heavily toward rentals—so as far as homes along this route go, Eastlake is most of them. And while many of Eastlake’s listings are floating homes, there are even more on the mainland.

We’ve found six notable homes along the route.
