Curbed Seattle's (Very Ambitious) Architectural Walking Tour Map

View as Map

Come one, come all, on a magical journey around the Sound to see many an architectural and cultural delight! Behold, Curbed Seattle's very first walking tour map.

Okay, so the spots aren't all within walking distance. If you were to try walking to all of them, in fact, we commend on your enormous amounts of ambition; Normandy Park is really far away when you're on foot. (Don't kid yourselves -- we're a car city if there ever was one, and the freak-out over Viaductocalypse is proof). Still, these are some noteworthy spots you should take the time to drive by in town (and, well, in Tacoma). We've included the oldest recorded house this side of, uh, West Seattle, a brief jaunt to the Foss Waterway, some fun facts about the beloved Pike Place Market, and an ode to the long-gone but never forgotten Blob. Well, what are you waiting for? Fill up the tank and go, guy!
