Seven Waterfront Mansions Within a Mile of Seahawks HQ

View as Map

Live so close that you could drive this to the VMAC, via Ion Arai

Given their return to the Super Bowl, we could understand the urge to be as close as humanly possible to the Seahawks. This week we're checking out seven waterfront estates within two miles of the Seahawks' headquarters and training facility. The Virginia Mason Athletic Center (a.k.a. The VMAC) is on Lake Washington's shore between Renton and Bellevue. Fans and team members can be close enough for a walk, or maybe even a row. If nothing else, maybe they should buy up the properties across the water so the competitors can't spy on the scrimmages. Bring your big checkbook. All of the properties cost over $1M.

6238 E Mercer Way ($4.750M)

Own 128 feet of Lake Washington shoreline. Enjoy your pool rather than swim in the lake. One kitchen that's shiny. One for meals big enough for linebackers. That tub might need to be bigger.

8440 Benotho Pl ($4.625M)

Another Mercer mansion, this one with 112 feet of waterfront with a dock. The house is 5,050 square feet, which should be plenty of room, even for big parties of big people.

6932 96th Ave SE ($3.950M)

This house is so new it looks like a cartoon. A Cape Cod exterior, in case someone from New England wants to feel at home. Inside is NW style. It is elevator ready because sometimes work is hard enough.

6437 Ripley Ln SE ($3.5888M)

How about a bit of Tuscany just a walk down from the training facility? Brick facade, wrought iron railings, marble in the bath - rather breaks the stereotype of Renton.

4023 Williams Ave N ($2.499M)

Part of a neighborhood of luxurious waterfront homes means it might be worth checking the homeowners dues. The house is modern enough to be its own training facility, good for a bit of productive overtime.

6015 Hazelwood Ln SE ($1.688M)

Custom designed by an owner/architect who has to sell. The house is distinctive enough that it gets to be on TV. It's a star, which is great if you want a lot of exposure. Maybe not, if you want some anonymity.

6409 Ripley Ln N ($1.135M)

If waterfront is good, then maybe being in the lake is better. This house is built on the lake bed. Deepwater moorage for several boats. At least it doesn't have to worry about the tides. Maybe you can catch dinner from the deck. Just a short jog to Seahawks HQ.
