Start Your Bidding: Seattle City Light Puts Four Prime Plots On Market

View as Map

Not finding your dream home in the current Seattle house listings? Seattle City Light's leftovers could be your gain. The energy company is putting four parcels of land that were formerly used as sub-stations on the market.

Ranging from 0.14 to 0.59 acres, the lots are rare open spaces in densely-populated North Seattle neighborhoods with oodles of potential. One lot is zoned for a multi-family building while the other three make sense for single family homes.

Each lot requires a minimum bid and offers are due May 7th. In a similar sell-off last year, the city sold two old fire stations for double the minimum price. These parcels are expected to close at roughly 20% higher than the minimums.
