Your Guide to Public Pools Around Seattle -- Summer 2012 Edition

View as Map

It isn't often that the sun shows up around these parts, which is why Seattle's not really the place to go if you're an outdoor pool enthusiast. (That is, unless you're the sort of enthusiast who likes, well, looking at pools. Pools with lots of ripples from the rain falling into them. That kind of enthusiast will feel right at home.) Our spread of indoor pools, however, is truly impressive for a city of our size -- you're nearly always within a mile or two of a pool, which makes for fun summer bike rides in the rain followed by a refreshing indoor dip. We've collected the city's pools onto this handy-dandy map, so no matter where you're hanging out this summer you can locate the nearest cement pond faster than you can say "cannonbaaaaaaaall..."

Got other favorite pools you think we're missing? Just send them to the tipline. Email us at seattle@curbed.com with your additions to the list.
